Suicide after mission – Failed to offer treatment for PTSD

A soldier is diagnosed with PTSD only two years after he returns from a mission during which he witnessed four near-death experiences in Afghanistan, including thinking he had lost his legs when he was covered in another soldier's blood, and saw a friend die in his arms.

Due to a poorly established treatment system for diagnosed PTSD patients, he is not taken care of even after his diagnosis is established.

Three days after the PTSD diagnosis, he is found with a heroine overdose and cannot be saved.
