I experienced this in Afghanistan, while caring for detainees at the Role 3 hospital.
Sometimes the guards of the military police (assigned to guard the detainee while in our care) and/ or the interrogators would want to question the patients at times that were not appropriate from medical standpoint.
We would have to remind them that medical care needed to be provided first and conditions set so that we would not be violating our duty to manage them as a patient first.
