One day some enemy attacked patients were transferred in. Among them, two had serious wounds with urgent needs of amputation and blood transfusion.
One patient is a combatant and the second is an insurgent who was more serious & life-threatening than that of the combatant. The insurgent was prioritized to take operation first and meanwhile, there was no sufficient amount of blood in reserve.
Then I asked for volunteers to make blood donations and some of them wanted to give blood to their comrade-in-arms but not to the insurgent willingly.
